Chartbeat University: Distributions

A few months ago, I wrote about coin-flipping experiments, Bayesian updating, and spurious certainty. Much of the discussion in that post centered on using probability densities to reason about data, but I put off detailed discussion about densities until a future time (and I passed the buck in a footnote, no less!). Well, the time has come to right that injustice. Over at our Engineering Blog, I’ve written up a bit of a tutorial on distributions and some different ways to visualize them. So, if this is something you are curious and/or interested in, head over there to read it. Enjoy!
